In the Department of Business and Economics at Bethel, we prepare students that are grounded in ethics and Christian values for service in the marketplace. Whether students go on to work for a corporation, a non-profit charity, or a government agency, they learn to serve others and promote justice in a complex world.
Through a broad range of majors and minors, students gain analytical skills and technical knowledge, and they learn Christ-centered ethics. They can choose to focus their studies in 2 or more specialties to better adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Our liberal arts approach builds whole students. Not only do they understand how an organization or company ought to operate, they also are strong writers, speakers, and thinkers—skills they’ll use in any position.
In addition to work in the classroom, all students complete an internship in his or her area of interest. Located in the thriving Twin Cities, we have quick access to every kind of company or organization ranging from innovative start-ups to industry giants to national non-profits.
Beyond workplace experience and challenging courses, our faculty mentors ultimately prepare each student for the direction God has wired them to go.
