It’s raining, it’s pouring, it’s… London following World War I - and for two British housewives, the disenchantment of life is a bit too much! After providence leads them to an advertisement, they rent a villa in Italy for a month-long holiday away from it all. Joining them are two very different English women to share the cost and the experience. When husbands, servants and the villa’s owner join in, it makes for a lively and laugh-filed adventure. There on the Mediterranean, their spirits blossom with the wisteria as they rediscover life and living in this ENCHANTED APRIL.
