My favorite thing about Bethel University:
The amazing people who choose to join this community. It's an incredibly diverse group of people with different backgrounds, interests, and ideas, but one that is still deeply connected by a shared faith and common goals.
My favorite places on Bethel's campus:
The Olson Gallery and the CLC lobby are both really beautiful. Kresge Courtyard and the trail around Lake Valentine have been favorites of mine since Freshman year.
My favorite Twin Cities/Minnesota sites:
I love the Lake Harriet Rose Garden, the walking path around Lake of the Isles, and the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden across from the Walker Art Center.
Before working at Bethel:
I taught American government and political philosophy.
