What is the Purpose of REPRESENT?
| REPRESENT exists to involve students of color
on campus as well as to promote diversity at Bethel. REPRESENT
will focus on contacting prospective students of color and
creating a connection for them to Bethel University. |
The purpose of REPRESENT is to encourage students
of color throughout their senior year of high school as they investigate
Bethel University. REPRESENT members are eager to make students' experience
a positive one. REPRESENT members will help inform prospective students
of deadlines and events on campus as well as answer questions.
REPRESENT: The Heart of the Matter
REPRESENT exists to represent a growing diverse population
at Bethel University that reflects the Kingdom of God.
All this newness of life is from God, who brought
us back to Himself through what Christ did. And God has given us
the task of reconciling people to Him. For God was in Christ, reconciling
the world to Himself, no longer counting people's sins against them.
This is the wonderful message He has given us to tell others. We
are Christ's ambassadors and God is using us to speak to you. We
urge you as though Christ Himself were here pleading with you, 'Be
reconciled to God!'"
2 Corinthians 5:18-20
Our identity is found in Christ Jesus alone. As multicultural
people, we REPRESENT God's Kingdom through diversity of culture
and reconciliation of people unto God.
