Bethel Multicultural Grant

Located in St. Paul, Minn., Bethel University is a private Christian college that is fully accredited and offers 81 areas of study within 64 strong majors. More than 2,500 students attend Bethel, representing 42 states, with 70 percent of those students coming from Minnesota. Bethel University is a Christian learning community committed to pursue and practice what is true; to excel in its educational programs; to collaborate as partners in learning; to integrate Christian faith into every area of life; and to nurture every person toward Christian maturity in scholarship, leadership, and service.

Bethel is committed to growing in diversity. In order to reflect the kingdom of God, we are striving to be a place that is complete with people who represent a variety of racial and ethnic groups.

A Bethel education is very valuable, but it may also be costly. The Bethel Multicultural Grant was designed with this understanding in mind.

How does the Bethel Multicultural Grant work?

The grant is awarded to students who demonstrate need. You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Bethel University Financial Aid Application to determine your total financial gift aid. * The purpose is to help you cover the total cost of attending Bethel.

We are looking for students who love to learn, desire to be leaders, and want to use their lives to make a difference for the kingdom of God. Are you a candidate? We hope so! Bethel desires to become a diverse community, and we are putting our money where our heart is.

Are you eligible?

  1. You must be a Minnesota resident who is either a U.S. citizen or has Resident Alien status.
  2. 25 percent of your heritage must be of a minority ethnic group.
  3. You must demonstrate financial need.
