Honduras Mission Trip
Get in the trenches and serve alongside a Honduran brother or sister and help to bring fresh, clean water and share the hope of the Living Water with a rural village in Honduras.
Date
March 9-17, 2013 (spring break)
Location
The team will be based in a rural village in Honduras which is in need of a clean water system. Honduran ministry partners will be identifying the particular village in the coming months.
The Experience
Big work. Big reward. Students on the Honduras team can expect some of the hardest work we ask of students on Bethel SMP trips: digging trenches, hauling rock, and climbing up-and-down hills. The cross-cultural work is equally challenging, but Agua Viva staff members will prepare you throughout the school year (through weekly team meetings) and walk alongside you throughout this worldview changing ministry experience. Big work. Big reward.

Who Should Participate
This trip is ideally suited for students with a desire for something rugged and challenging. Spanish language is very helpful, but not required. Students must be ready for physical and spiritual rigor, and expect personal and spiritual transformation as they invest more of themselves in this endeavor.
Trip Size
15 students
