Patricia Paulson received her M.S. degree from St. Cloud State and her PhD from Capella University . She taught in the Anoka-Hennepin School District for fifteen years, and coordinated K-12 Science for the Anoka-Hennepin School District prior to coming to Bethel in 1999 . She teaches both the elementary and secondary science methods courses (EDU371, EDU420). NAS101D Life Science Concepts for elementary education majors, and coordinates the Science tutor lab. Patti supervises secondary science student teachers and advises students who specialize in science education. In addition she teaches Current Issues in Science Education in the Education graduate program. Her research interests center on the delivery of quality, inquiry-based K-12 science education. She also coordinated sixteen Saturdays for Science within the Frogtown area of St. Paul, and also coordinates the Girls In Science: Changing the World program. |
