Chuck Hannema, Associate Professor of Business, joined the faculty in 2002, received tenure in 2006, and currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Business and Economics. His appointment has created more course availability in the finance emphasis. Chuck teaches Managerial Finance, Investments, Capital Markets, and Psychology of Investing – the study of behavioral finance. Working in tandem with a national wealth management firm, Chuck developed an interim course in which students gain hands-on experience developing equity analysis skills and portfolio management strategies. With 20 years of experience working in commercial and investment banking, Chuck brings business world relevance to the courses he is teaching. Chuck is honored to be a member of the faculty and is energized by the students at Bethel. "I am blessed abundantly by God for His direction which led me here", says Chuck.
