Sheila Werder joined the department in 1999. She coordinates various departmental events including the B. & E. Connections alumni tent on the field during the Homecoming football game. She also writes an alumni newsletter that is distributed to more than 2,000 business & economics alumni twice yearly.

Sheila particularly enjoys working with freshman every year as their academic advisor. In addition, she is always available to coach and mentor all business & economics majors.

Sheila lives in Corcoran with her husband, Jon, and their two daughters, Lindsay and Caitlin. Her favorite hobby is riding her horses, "Magic" & "Whit"!
