Bethel's Department of Communication Studies is blessed to have eight full-time and several adjunct members serve in the department.

Part-Time faculty: The following faculty have taught for us in an adjunct capacity during the last year:

  • Prof. Phil Frazier, Adjunct Assistant Professor of Communication Studies, who continues to teach Interpersonal Communication in the graduate program, Group Communication, Basic Communication, Family Interaction, and the Leadership Assessment Seminar.
  • Prof. Kevin McAnnany, Instructor and Technical Director for WBCS and the television studio (Acting Director of Internships, Spring 2008)
  • Dr. David Schuelke, Adjunct Professor of Communication Studies, who teaches in our graduate and undergraduate program in the College of Adult and Professional Studies. He is Director of the B.A. in Communication Studies through the College of Adult and Professional Studies. 
  • Prof. Jentine Arkema, College of Adult and Professional Studies and the Graduate School.
  • Prof. Hannah Asfaw, College of Adult and Professional Studies.
  • Dr. Cheryl Bostrom, who teaches Basic Communication and Persuasion in the College of Arts and Sciences, as well as in the College of Adult and Professional Studies.
  • Prof. Lisa Como, who teaches Basic Communication in the College of Arts and Sciences.
  • Prof. Andrea Sorenson, College of Adult and Professional Studies
