Other interests: Singing, horseback riding, watching football, fishing, reading for pleasure.

Children: Jessica (getting PhD at the University of Illinois -Champaign/Urbana); Aaron (getting MA at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee); Jacob (getting MA at Colorado State University) -- all of them in the area of communication studies!

Pets: Two German Shepherds (Mattie & Clyde). Support the upkeep of my children's dogs which include two pugs (Barabbas & Cleopatra); a daschund (Maverick); and a half-pug, half-shih tzu (Thomas). Holidays at our house are crazy when all the kids come home with their dogs!
