Intercollegiate individual events and Lincoln-Douglas debate

The National Forensic Association is a 30-year old association devoted to both education and competitive excellence in intercollegiate speech and debate.

The National Forensic Association sponsors the largest intercollegiate individual events and Lincoln-Douglas debate tournament as well as a journal devoted to forensic research. You'll find on the site past results from the national tournament, information about intercollegiate speech and debate events and more.

If you're looking for information about forensic science, you won't find it here -- instead, we encourage you to search other sites by using terms such as "forensic science not speech."

So why is intercollegiate speech and debate also called forensics? The answer to that and other questions can be found on our FAQ page.

Details on the site's redesign and accessibility policy, along with the site's privacy policy, are available.
