RESOLVED: That the United States Federal Government should . . .
- 1. codify the UNESCO resolutions on bioethics.
- 2. significantly increase regulation on human genome research.
- 3. significantly increase restrictions on the development, use and/or sale of genetically modified organisms.
- 4. significantly increase restrictions on the development, use and/or sale of products of medical biotechnology.
- 5. substantially reform the Food and Drug Administration.
- The fifth draft resolution will have to be significantly revised to limit to the parameters of the topic area. The committee welcomes your recommendations on this as well as the other resolutions.
