	Jody Cowdin, Associate Professor of Education, has a masters degree in human development and special education. She has taught 20 years in public and private elementary schools. 	Robin Hasslen, Professor of Education and Director of Early Childhood Services received her doctoral degree from the University of Minnesota and her masters degree from St. Cloud State University. 	Mary Hammond, Associate Professor of Education received her doctoral degree at Nova Southeaster University and her masters degree from Cleveland State University. Mary taught grades 3-6 for more than 20 years before coming to Bethel. She is interested in higher education specifically curriculum and instruction. 	Gail Jordan, Associate Professor of Education and Reading License Program Director, did doctoral coursework at the University of Minnesota in Curriculum and Instruction. 	Steven Kaatz, Associate Professor of Education, received his doctoral degree from the University of Minnesota in Educational Administration and Policy Studies. 	Jill Hallstrom Martin, Associate Professor of Education received her doctoral from Nova Southeastern University. Before coming to Bethel. Jill taught junior high and middle school and also taught at Crown College. Her interests are in reflective practice and portfolio development. 	Linda Probert, Associate Professor in Education, received her doctoral degree from Nova Souteastern University. Linda taught kindergarten and first grade before coming to Bethel. 	Jay Rasmussen, Professor of Education and Graduate Education Coordinator, received his doctorate from the University of Minnesota. Jay was a teacher and principal in Rice Lake Wisconsin and taught at North Central University.
