	Jody Cowdin, Associate Professor of Education, has a masters degree in human development and special education. She has taught 20 years in public and private elementary schools. 	Mary Hammond, Associate Professor of Education received her doctoral degree at Nova Southeaster University and her masters degree from Cleveland State University. Mary taught grades 3-6 for more than 20 years before coming to Bethel. She is interested in higher education specifically curriculum and instruction. 	Steven Kaatz, Associate Professor of Education, received his doctoral degree from the University of Minnesota in Educational Administration and Policy Studies. 	Jay Rasmussen, Professor of Education and Graduate Education Coordinator, received his doctorate from the University of Minnesota. Jay was a teacher and principal in Rice Lake Wisconsin and taught at North Central University.
