Many English students take
advantage of internship opportunities to practice what they are learning in a
real-life setting. Bethel English
students frequently do editing and manuscript preparation for publishing houses
such as Bethany House and Coffee House Press. They prepare press releases and development documents for non-profit
organizations like Christians for Biblical Equality and the Minneapolis Park
Board. Other students write articles and
do editing for publications such as the Asian-American Press, Alive magazine,
and The Kansas City Star. Take a
look at the many internship opportunities available at the Career Services
website:
If you are interested in
pursuing an internship, begin by finding an appropriate internship site and
completing the internship form. If all
policies listed on the form are followed, you will be eligible to register for
ENW481. Phyllis Alsdurf can answer any
questions you may have about internships in the English Department.
