Athletic Training Education Program Requirements for Admission

Because of the limited opportunities for clinical experience in  the Bethel University ATEP, a selection process is necessary to identify  the most appropriate candidates for the available positions. A  Selection Committee made up of the Certified Athletic Trainers  will evaluate each candidate based on overall GPA, GPA in the prerequisite courses, personal interviews with the Selection Committee, written application materials and letters of recommendation. The number  of students accepted into the ATEP Clinical Experience each year  is dependent upon the constraints of clinical settings and the  number of clinical supervisors available.

Application packets are available in the HPE Office by November  1. Each candidate must have all application materials, including personal reference forms on file in the Program Director's office  by January 7.

Application packets include:

  1. Application form
