 Qualifications

• Certified by the NATA
• Registered by the State of Minnesota
• Minimum one year experience supervising student athletic trainers
• Strong academic orientation and a sincere interest in the education of student athletic trainers.
• Demonstrated involvement in athletic training and sports medicine  through membership in related professional organizations, public  speaking, etc.
• Demonstrated clinical teaching skills

Responsibilities

• Teach selected courses in the athletic training major.
• Provide instruction and supervision to student athletic trainers in the clinical setting.
• Provide prevention, care and rehabilitation of injuries to  Bethel University athletes.
• Provide athletic trainer coverage for home contests.
  
• Develop and utilize computer generated media for education of student athletic trainers.
• Coordinate documentation of clinical competencies of student athletic traners.
• Advise athletic training majors.
