Music Scholarships
The Bethel University Department of Music awards music scholarships in the amounts of $1,000-4,000 per year to new incoming Bethel students.
These awards are not need-based and would comprise just a part of a total financial aid package from Bethel. The awards are open to all students regardless of major however they do require participation in a Bethel performance organization.
You do not have to be accepted to Bethel in order to apply. In fact, the deadline for the scholarship application comes very close to the mailing of the first round of acceptance letters.

Timeline Information:
- October 1, 2011 to January 13, 2012: Scholarship applications and CD/tapes accepted
- January 13, 2012: Scholarship applications, recommendations and CD/tapes postmark deadline
- February 10, 2012: Your completed Bethel University Application for Admission must be on file in the Admissions Office
- February 10, 2012: Audition results are mailed to all CD/tape audition applicants
- February 25, 2012: On-campus auditions for scholarship finalists
- March 5, 2012: Audition results mailed to all finalists
- March 26, 2012: Award acceptance deadline
- May 1, 2012: National Candidate Reply date (date by which all music scholarship awards must be finalized)

2012-2013 Music Scholarship INFORMATION
