Ministry Sites
For six weeks of the semester Guatemala Term students work at one of five ministry sites. Ministry sites are occupational settings in Antigua and the villages of Magdalena and El Gorrion, where Guatemala participants and Students International (SI) staff work side-by-side with the poor. These groups come together cross-culturally to encounter God, share the Good News, disciple and serve others. Ministry sites include: two education sites (El Gorrion, ESL and Magdalena, elementary school), Agriculture/Technology (Magdalena), Health Care (Magdalena), Social Work (Antigua; Hermano Pedro).

For 2007, the ministry site dates are: Jan. 5-9, March 12-23, April 30-May 18.
