Excursion: Tikal 2007

Over the weekend of March 17-18, the group headed to Tikal for the second excursion. The plane left from Guatemala City at 6 AM, meaning the whole group needed to leave Antigua by 4 AM. The plane was really small, only holding 20 people. The group spent the day in Tikal, touring and climbing the Mayan ruins. The rest of the day and Sunday morning were spent in Flores. Students hung out in the hotel pool, explored Flores, kayaked in the lake, and had a worship service.
