Programs and Courses
The Department of Modern World Languages offers majors in French, Spanish,
and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). We also have a program leading to Minnesota licensure
to teach French K-12 and Spanish K-12 (licensure in world languages and
cultures), as well as to teach English as a Second Language K-12 (TESL).
Our department offers minors in French, German, Spanish TESOL, and Modern World Languages. Other languages taught at Bethel are American Sign Language, Mandarin Chinese and Swedish. The links below offer information about specific language programs and classes
