Dr. Peterson Teaches Physics at Daystar University

 Between May 23 and June 26 over the summer of 2009, Dr. Peterson had the opportunity to teach physics at Daystar University in Kenya. He taught Daystar’s PHY 112 (2.25 hrs/day MWF), a general education requirement, as physical science class with an “Energy” theme on topics ranging from kinematics/dynamics and mechanical energy forms, wave energy, electrical energy, thermodynamics, chemical energy, and nuclear energy. While there, Dr. Peterson also participated at the local Kitengela Covenant Church, giving the morning sermon his second week there. Says Dr. Peterson, "I began to see more clearly the strength derived from community patience, unity, and prayers in sacrificially helping these young Christian leaders now become servants to the larger world..."
