Pre-Med Club

The Pre-Med Club at Bethel is a group of students interested in health professions. Most of the members are primarily interested in the careers of physician, dentist, and veterinarian, however physical therapists, pharmacists and other health professionals are also welcome and invited to participate. We seek to provide a source of information about careers in the health professions and sponsor information centered events. Events that happen every year include a banquet with an excellent speaker, a social with health professionals, interaction with alumni, and visits from health professional programs. The group involves usually about 50 to 60 students and elects a president, vice president, treasurer, and secretary each year. Dr. Shaw is the advisor for the group and works to coordinate most of the activities.
