Psychology Department Programs and Majors

  • Major and Minor in Psychology (undergraduate)

    • The major in psychology (41 credits minimum) leaves room for over 30 credits of electives in the student's program, allowing for a subtantial minor in another field, or even a double major with fields such as Communications, Philosophy, Mathematics, Biblical Studies etc.
    • The minor in psychology (19 credits) can complement a number of majors.
  • MA in Counseling Psychology (graduate school site)
    Department Counseling MA site
    The program employs a scientist/practitioner model integrating the discipline of psychology with its roots in science and theory, the art of counseling, and a Christian worldview. The program is designed to be completed in two or three academic years, including a break for part of the summer.
