• History of Psychiatry: Founded in 1990.
• The British Journal for the History of Science: This journal is published both online and in paper formats for the British Society for the History of Science by Cambridge Journals.
• History of the Human Sciences :
• The Journal of the History of the Human Sciences : Founded in 1965, originally named The Journal of the History of the Behavioral Sciences, it is a quarterly, peer-reviewed, international journal devoted to the scientific, technical, institutional, and cultural history of the social and behavioral sciences.
• The Journal of Psychohistory
• The Journal of the History of the Neurosciences: Official Journal of the International Society for the History of the Neurosciences. Now in its sixteenth year (2008), publishes four issues per volume. Scope: neuroscience history (basic, clinical, and behavioral neurosciences, both western and non western).
• Journal of Theoretical and Philosophical Psychology: Journal of the Society for Theoretical and Philosophical Psychology, which is APA division 24.

• APA Monitor An APA publication about interesting current issues. Quite readable. Not a research journal, but still articles in it will be properly referenced. The December 2003 issue, for example, deals with spirituality and mental health.
