Bethel On-Campus Grant

Amount: Up to $2,000 per year.

Renewal: Renewable each year assuming that FAFSA results are similar.

Eligibility: This grant is applied to tuition, fees, books, supplies and equipment for single students living in Bethel housing. Need-based.

Academic requirements: Must be a full-time student in good standing and be working towards first bachelor’s degree.

How to apply: Automatically considered with your FAFSA and Bethel Financial Aid Application.

Bethel Grant

Amount: Up to  $8,000 per year.

Renewal: Renewable each year assuming that FAFSA results are similar.

Eligibility: Students without adequate funding from other grants. Need-based.

Academic requirements: Must be a full-time student in good standing and be working towards first bachelor’s degree.

How to apply: Automatically considered with your FAFSA and Bethel Financial Aid Application.

Bethel Opportunity Grant

Amount: Up to $8,000 per year.

Renewal: Renewable each year assuming that FAFSA results are similar.

Eligibility: Need-based aid for a limited number of underserved students including students of color, first-generation college students (neither parent earned an associate's degree or higher), or residents of economically disadvantaged communities.

Academic requirements: Must be a full-time student in good standing and be working towards first bachelor’s degree.

Canadian Student Grant

Amount: Up to $6,000 per year.

Renewal: Renewable each year.

Eligibility: Canadian citizens living in Canada who are not eligible for U.S. government aid. The Canadian Student Grant is offered in lieu of the Bethel Grant, Bethel Housing Grant, International Student Grant, and Bethel Opportunity Grant.

Academic requirements: Must be a full-time student in good standing and be working towards first bachelor’s degree.

International Student Grant

Amount: Up to $3,000.

Renewal: Renewable each year.

Eligibility: Citizens of countries other than the U.S. or Canada who have support to cover most, but not all, of their Bethel expenses. 

Academic requirements: Must be a full-time student in good standing and be working toward first bachelor’s degree.

How to apply: Automatically considered with the information provided on the Certificate of Finances form during the admissions process for international students.

Transfer Housing Grant

Amount: Up to $2,000.

Renewal: Renewable each year assuming that FAFSA results are similar.

Eligibility: This grant is applied to tuition, fees, books, supplies and equipment for single transfer students, with at least one year of post-high school college experience, living in Bethel housing. Limited number available. Need-based.

Academic requirements: Must be a full-time student in good standing and be working towards first bachelor’s degree.
