Bethel Leadership Scholarship
In recognition of our mission to develop world leaders, Bethel seeks to recognize leadership, scholarship, and service within our incoming class. If you have taken on leadership responsibilities through activities in high school, a community organization, or your church, you should apply for Bethel’s leadership scholarship.
Amount: up to $1,000 per year
Renewal: Renewable each year up to four years.
Eligibility: Students must be accepted for admission to Bethel. Strong candidates will have a solid academic profile including:
- 3.0 cumulative unweighted high school or college GPA
- and/or a 22 ACT composite score
- and/or a 1030 SAT combined score
Must be a full-time student in good standing and be working towards first bachelor’s degree at Bethel University. Not need-based.
How to apply: You will be asked to give examples of your leadership experiences, academic achievements, and service involvements plus attach your response to the essay question below. The application will time out after a period of inactivity. Use your Bethel Community Account to access the application. Applications are due by May 15, 2013 and notifications will be mailed the first week of June.
Essay question: You will not be able to save your application. Please be prepared to attach a PDF or Word doc with your answer to the following question to the second page.
