Bethel Leadership Scholarship
In recognition of our mission to develop world leaders, Bethel seeks to recognize leadership, scholarship, and service within our incoming class. If you have taken on leadership responsibilities through activities in high school, community organizations, or your church, you should apply for Bethel’s leadership scholarship.
Amount: $1,000-$3,000 per year
Renewal: Renewable each year up to four years.
Eligibility: Incoming new and transfer students who are accepted for admission to Bethel. Strong candidates will have a solid academic profile including:
- 3.0 cumulative unweighted high school or college GPA and/or
- 22 ACT composite score and/or
- 1030 SAT combined score
Must be a full-time student in good standing and be working toward first bachelor’s degree at Bethel University. Not need-based.
How to apply: You will be asked to give examples of your leadership experiences, academic achievements, and service involvements, plus answer the essay question below. The application will time out after a period of inactivity. You may want to draft your responses elsewhere and paste them into the form. Use your Bethel Community Account to access the application. Applications are due by February 1, 2014.
