Bush in the Sand Dunes

Three other students from the trip and myself took a weekend to camp out in the Wahiba Sands Desert at a camp in a valley between two dunes. Scattered Bedouin homes and families, who raised goats and camels for a living, surrounded us. While wandering around on top of the dunes we came across this bush, which stuck out from the sand around it. The wind at the top of the dunes was uncovering its roots and burying them at the same time, giving a glimpse at how the sand dunes literally move and change shape constantly.
