Study Abroad Opportunities

Students at Bethel University have over 600 study abroad programs to choose from during fall, January, spring, and summer.

Part of the reason that Bethel offers such a wide variety of study abroad programs is so that students from any major can find a program that advances their academic and career goals. Our programs are not limited to certain majors, and many offer a variety of course options within the program itself. No matter what your academic interests are or where you want to study abroad, we are confident that we have a program for you.

Whether it's a faculty-led program or a third-party provider, we'll help you find the program that meets your needs and interests! Click on the links below to get started.

Bethel Faculty-Led Programs

January | Summer

Bethel offers faculty-led January and summer programs for undergraduate and graduate students each year.

Faculty-led interim courses are about 3 weeks in length and are announced at our Spring Study Abroad Fair for the following January.

Bethel Third-Party Programs

Semester | January | Summer

Bethel partners with a wide array of both Christian and secular third-party providers to give students a great variety of semester, January, and summer program options located all over the U.S. and the globe.

Intercultural Engagement Endorsement

When you study off-campus for a semester, you are able to count it toward an endorsement in intercultural engagement. This endorsement combines academic courses, campus activities, and off-campus experiences to equip you with skills to interact, communicate, and collaborate with people across cultures.
