Required Notifications for CAS Students

The following information is available to any student, parent, prospective student, and other interested parties. Copies of each are also available in the Office of the Registrar, Office of Student Life, and on Bethel’s website as indicated.

The Annual Security Report of Bethel University

This report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Bethel; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters. You can obtain a copy of this report by contacting the Office of Security and Safety.

The Report on Athletic Program Participation Rates and Financial Support Data (the Equity in Athletics Disclosure Act or EADA)

This report includes data about participation, staffing, revenues, and expenses attributable to Bethel University intercollegiate athletic activities. This report is available from the Department of Athletics.

Drug- and Alcohol-Free Campus Policy

The standards of conduct at Bethel University clearly prohibit the use, possession, and/or distribution of illicit drugs and alcohol by students on and off Bethel premises during the school year. Learn more about university policies concerning alcohol and drug use, resources for rehabilitation and counseling, and disciplinary sanctions regarding this policy. The Covenant for Life Together also provides additional information.

Official Withdrawal

To officially withdraw from Bethel University, pick up the appropriate forms in the Office of Student Life or call that office at 651.638.6300. Failure to notify the university of your intent to withdraw may result in a loss of financial aid. A student under unusual circumstances may be granted a leave of absence and need not be considered withdrawn from the institution.

Available Financial Assistance

Current financial assistance information is available from the Office of Financial Aid.

Completion/Graduation Rates

This report documents the number of students counted as a completion or graduation if, within 150 percent of the normal time for completion of or graduation from the program, the student has completed or graduated from the program or enrolled in any program of an eligible institution for which the prior program provides substantial preparation. This report covers the one-year period ending on August 31 of the preceding year. This report is available in the Office of the Registrar.
