Arden Village

Welcome to Arden Village! We hope you enjoy your experience with us whether you live here or just stop by to visit. Formerly Arden Village East and Arden Village West, we are now one residence hall of about 340 students. “One” is exactly what we would like to be known for. We desire to be one hall, one community and one group of men and women seeking to grow in our relationship with the One who saves.

In Arden Village, we have a total of 10 student staff to serve our residents and guests. Our team consists of one assistant resident director (ARD) and nine resident assistants (RAs) spread throughout the townhouses. If you need anything, please stop in and say hi!

In addition to the student staff, I (Jeremy Adelman), the resident director (RD), am here to help create an environment that encourages growth in each aspect of life. My wife, Megan, and I moved from Fargo, ND, in the summer of 2011. We now live within the townhouse complex and call Arden Village home along with each of the students who live here. Our family grew in April 2012, with the addition of our son—William “Liam” Daniel Adelman.

In an effort to create a community focused on being “one,” we strive for unity through social events, small groups (often known as suite churches), accountability, encouragement, bearing with one another, and prayer to name a few. Comprised mostly of sophomores with the addition of a few upperclassmen, there is a lot of energy and fun to be had!

As we look toward this year, our hope is that we can reflect the words of Paul as he wrote to the church at Colossae, “Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body.” (Colossians 3:12-15 emphasis added).

Formerly Arden Village East and Arden Village West, now one residence hall known as simply Arden Village, we rise and fall with the Son.
