Arden Village West

Mission

West is a community of townhouses that strives to grow in Christ together through fellowship, accountability, fun, and creative programming!

Theme Scripture Verse

"You belong here...God is building a home. He's using us all...Now he's using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day—a holy temple built by God...a temple in which God is quite at home." —Ephesians 2:19-22 (MSG)

Facilities at Arden Village West

Arden Village West is small-town living! AV West is home to 150 Bethel sophomores and juniors. Unlike traditional residence halls, AV West is made up of seven interconnected buildings with independent stairwells; each townhouse has three bedrooms, which house six students. There is one lounge packed with comfy couches, soft chairs, big pillows, tables, and chairs--perfect for cozy late-night conversations or serious early-morning study. Come enjoy a fire in the fireplace; make dinner for your friends in the full kitchen; or pop a movie in the DVD player. The lounge also has a laundry room, computer room with two networked computers and a laser printer, a pool table, a Ping-Pong table, and pop machines. Each individual townhouse has a sofa, two chairs, and a table provided; many students choose to bring (or build) their own furniture and accessories to make their townhouse a true home.

Located next to all the classroom buildings, West has the perfect location. It is also the ideal setting for sophomores to deepen the faith and friendships that began their freshman year at Bethel. The townhouses offer students a chance for more independent living with roommates, while still offering all of the benefits of living on campus and being part of the larger residence hall community here in West. It's the best of both worlds!
