Bodien Hall

Bodien Hall is a traditional residence hall with floors of approximately 25 students who live in two or three person rooms. Bodien is a community that strives to grow in Christ together through fellowship, accountability, fun, and creative programming.

As a staff, we strive to be authentic leaders and Christ-followers who are actively engaging with each resident, the Bethel community, and the world. Bodien is exclusively first-year student housing where we hope to meet the needs of students who are new to Bethel. We want to help each student feel welcome and comfortable.

We also hope that Bodien can be a community that consistently seeks the Lord and grows in faith together. We believe that this can happen through honesty, vulnerability, accountability, and encouragement. We desire for Bodien to be a place where students can be real; a place where each resident can give and receive love as we encounter the joys and challenges of life together.

In Bodien we work hard in school but play hard as well! We have a variety of social and educational events including open mic nights, themed events for various holidays, events that bring awareness of our world, and events that bring awareness of ourselves. We also enjoy worshiping together; praying together; and engaging in conversations about faith, theology, and social justice.

Bodien is a great place to live, learn and grow! We hope it feels like home.

"Therefore, let him who until now has had the privilege of living a common Christian life with other Christians praise God's grace from the bottom of his heart.  Let him thank God on his knees and declare: It is grace, nothing but grace, that we are allowed to live in community with Christian brethren." - Dietrich Bonhoeffer
