Fountain Terrace

Fountain Terrace is an apartment community that strives to offer you a place to call home, a place where you can belong, and a place to be who you are. Located a mile and a half from the center of Bethel's campus, you have the unique opportunity to experience life in real communities in your apartment building and the New Brighton neighborhood. At Fountain, we want to get to know you, who you are, and what you bring to this community. As a staff we strive to make this a place where you can honor, learn, protect, and create what you truly love. As primarily upper class housing, we have tailored our approach to meet the needs of those in their busier junior and senior years. Therefore, programming is provided that will holistically encourage and renew our residents, while offering many new and unique opportunities in which to get involved. Programming will be provided for individual apartments as well as the whole Fountain community. The Facilities at Fountain Terrace

Houses 270 students in 4 apartment buildings (691, 721, 751, 799) with 4 students in each apartment. Each building has three floors, and each floor has its own laundry room.

In the Community Room:

  - Full kitchen
  - Large community table for board games and studying
  - Computer room: 3 networked computers and printers
  - Built-in entertainment system with surround sound, DVD/VCR player, LCD TV
  - Comfy couches, soft chairs, tables, and chairs
  - Open to residents 24 hours, seven days a week. A resident assistant is available every  
     night from 7-11 p.m.

In Each Apartment:

  - Full kitchen equipped with refrigerator and stove
  - 2 bedrooms rooms equipped with beds, desks, dressers, drapes, closets, and desk chairs
  - Full bathroom
  - Balcony
  - Air conditioning
  - Cable TV in every apartment
  - Living room equipped with minimal furniture
  - Dining room area with table and chairs
  - One storage closet per apartment
  - Single-car garages are also a nice feature available to Fountain Terrace residents for a  
    rental fee.

Students are invited to bring their own furniture and accessories to make their apartment their own. Please note that Bethel furniture cannot be taken out of the apartment.
