Lissner Hall

Lissner Hall exists with the purpose of being a residential community committed to the rewarding, difficult, life-giving, and perplexing work of doing life well together. The Lissner residence life team (which includes the resident assistants, assistant resident director, and resident director) seeks to serve, love, and care for the residents of Lissner Hall in such a way that each resident would experience a deep sense of belonging. Lissner primarily houses sophomore students, but juniors and seniors live there as well. In many ways, we are striving to be a "church," creating and celebrating the body of Christ. A variety of programs have taken place in Lissner throughout its few years of existence. A few examples include: (1) parties and activities that will provide opportunities for you to get to know others on a deeper level and be enriched by community, (2) educational/spiritual programs in which guest speakers come and share from different life experiences, and (3) service-learning opportunities (e.g., Feed My Starving Children, Operation Christmas Child, Washburn Children’s Center Toy Drive). Lissner Hall is about broken people loving broken people, loving broken people…

Peace. Love. Togetherness.
