Bodien Hall
Bodien Hall is a traditional residence hall with floors of about 25 students, two to three students per room. Bodien is a community that strives to grow in Christ together through fellowship, accountability, fun, and creative programming!
As a staff, we strive to be authentic leaders and Christ-followers who are fully alive and passionate about engaging with each resident, the Bethel community, and the world. Bodien is exclusively first-year student housing. We hope to meet the needs of students new to Bethel to help them feel welcome and comfortable here at Bethel.
We also hope that Bodien can be a community that passionately strives after the Lord and grows spiritually together through honesty and vulnerability. This is a place for people to be real and a place where people can love each other through the great times and hard times in life.
Bodien is a place where we work hard in school but play hard as well! We love to have open mic nights, fun themed events for various holidays, and events that bring awareness of our world and help us become world changers. We also love to worship together; pray together; and strive to pursue deep conversations about faith, theology, and social justice.
Living in Bodien is great, and we’re open to visitors anytime!

Facilities at Bodien
Houses 160 students in traditional dorm rooms. The six floors are separated by gender.
In the Shack/Lounge:
- High-quality Ping-Pong and pool tables
- Full kitchen
- Laundry room
- Public computers: 2 networked computers and printer
- Large study room full of couches
- Pop machines
- TV (with cable) and DVD player in lounge
- Air hockey
- Sweet R.A.s
Features of Rooms
Each room has:
- Loftable bed frames and bed springs
- Dressers
- Desks and chairs
- Closets or wardrobes
Students are invited to bring their own bedding, decorations, and accessories to make their room their own!
