Transfers

Many of you have been through some type of orientation already at another school. While you may already be acquainted with the basics of life in college, we want to encourage you to attend the Bethel WW transfer events as you will be far more connected and better prepared to start at Bethel. If you will also be commuting, feel free to take advantage of the commuter activities as well!

Transfer Events

Here are a few events that are geared more towards transfer students

Thursday, August 28 - Annie's Parlor 10 - 11 p.m.
Join us as we head off to Annie's Parlor in Dinkytown to hang out! We will enjoy a great time of getting to know other transfers, commuters and PSEO students as we play games and eat delicious malts and ice cream! The first van will leave at approx 9:45 and another at 10:00. Plan to be back to Bethel around 11ish.

Saturday, August 30, 1 - 3 p.m.
Picnic! Hang out at a near by beach with volleyball, Frisbee, football, swimming, food and sand castles! We will relax and enjoy the hopefully beautiful weather!

Introduction to Life at Bethel

To continue that smooth transition, Bethel offers an Introduction to Life at Bethel class just for transfer students. Topics include listening for the voice of vocation, discovering opportunities for involvement, and connecting with other transfer students. You can register for this one-credit, eight-week course in the Office of the Registrar.

Check with the Office of Student Life for information on social events and activities, including Bible studies and lunch group opportunities, to promote connection and mentoring between transfer students and current students.
