  • 8 - 10 am: Language Skills Test (Optional-Restricted to students who want to complete the language requirement by examination in French, German, or Spanish.  This is NOT a placement test. Click here for more details.)- CC325

  • 8 am - 4 pm: Parent Information Booth - CLC Lobby

  • 8 - 9:45 am: Breakfast on your own in the Dining Center (DC)

  • 8:30 - 11:45 am: Parent Sessions - Benson Great Hall

  • 8:30 am: Devotional - Provost

  • 9 am: The Heart of the Matter: Spiritual Growth During the College Years - Campus Pastor

  • 9:30 am: Academic Life at Bethel - Dean of Academic Programs

  • 10 am: Coffee Break - CLC Lobby

  • 10:30 am: Helping My Student Adjust to College Life - Vice President for Student Life

  • 11 am: Q & A (Ask the Leaders - Panel)

  • 9 am - 4 pm: Financial Aid and Business Offices open

  • 9:30 am - 4 pm: ID/Roster pictures taken - RC Gym balcony

  • 9:00 - 11:15 am: Departmental Overviews (9-10, and 10:15-11:15)

  • 10:10 - 11:40 am: Math Placement Exam and Pretest (Students involved with math testing should attend the 9:00 a.m. session of the Department Overview & First Meeting with Your Advisor.) - CC 120 (F08 Precalculus or Calculus 1 students) or CC 230 (F08 Math for El. Ed. 1 students)

  • 11:45 am - 12:45 pm: Lunch/Introduction to the Liberal Arts (ILA)

  • noon - 4 pm: Hospitality area - RC Lounge

  • 12:45 - 1:45 pm: Lunch/Introduction to the Liberal Arts

  • 1-5 pm: Introduction to the Liberal Arts: Orientation to Essential Technology (you will be assigned a one hour time slot).

  • 1 - 3 pm: Advisors available in office to meet with students

  • 2 pm: "Campus Tours" - meet in the Office of Admissions

  • 3 - 4:30 pm: Advising Central Open. Students who have advising questions after the time to meet with their advisor's office hours (1:00-3:00 p.m.) has ended can get assistance at Advising Central in CC427.

  • Afternoon Parents: This is a great opportunity to take care of those last-minute residence halls needs, or just relax and enjoy the Twin Cities.

  • 5:15 - 6:30 pm: Dinner in the Dining Center (with RAs)

  • 6 pm: Parents Banquet, RC Gym - REGISTER ONLINE TODAY!

  • 7 - 9 pm: "Where's Waldo" student team building event
