Meal Plans

You don't often hear this about colleges—but we love the food. The quality and huge variety have won us over, especially since the new Monson Dining Center entered the Bethel food scene.

In the dining center, we have our choice from stations where dishes are prepared made to order while we watch—Asian stir fry, American hamburgers, Italian pastas, deli sandwiches, home-style comfort food, an endless salad/soup bar, brick oven pizza, and a dessert buffet. Then we take a seat in the spacious, 2-story dining area overlooking Lake Valentine.

At the 3900 Grill, Bethel’s casual campus restaurant, we use flex meal plan dollars to snag a comfy booth while we wait for panini, soup, burgers, or pasta dishes. For quick fixes and late-night snacks, the new Royal Grounds coffee shop offers locally-roasted Caribou Coffee options, made-to-order specialty drinks, smoothies, frozen yogurt, chocolates, pastries, and Freschetta pizza at night.

Meals

Meals are your ticket for as much food as you'd like. You'll use one "meal" every time you go to the Monson Dining Center—breakfast, lunch, and dinner. So, depending on if you plan on beginning each day with breakfast or don't roll out of bed until lunch, there are meal options for you. Most meals are allocated per week. This means each week you'll have a certain number of meals you can use. Every Friday morning, the number resets.

Flex Dollars

Flex dollars are an additional part of your meal plan that can be used for a quick snack in Royal Grounds, a made-to-order panini or burger in 3900 Grill, or an extra trip to the dining center for you or a friend. Depending on which meal plan you choose, you'll have a certain amount of flex for fall, interim, and spring. Don't worry if you run out, you can always add more.

Now that you know what meals and flex are all about, you're ready to see your meal plan options.
