Social Work
The social work curriculum thoroughly identifies generalist social work practice as our objective. It is essential that all persons involved with the Social Work Program be informed of the understanding of generalist social work practice. The following definition of generalist practice has been adopted by the Bethel University Social Work Program.
Generalist
social work practice is guided by ethical principles and committed to promote the well-being of individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities through a range of prevention and intervention methods.
